Four-Year Vision

Arlington Heights thrives when we’re united.  I want longtime residents and newcomers alike to have a voice. I’ll bring the community into the conversation as we explore new directions for Arlington Park together. I'll seek to create events town-wide that bring the community together, and open commissions and volunteer opportunities to all. My 20-year network with the schools, park districts, and businesses means results from day one.

Four years from now, I see Arlington Heights as a thriving, well-balanced community—a place where financial stability, thoughtful development, and social harmony come together to create a vibrant environment for everyone who calls it home.

Financially Stronger & More Stable

I envision a village that has achieved financial certainty. Through careful planning and sustainable development, we will have created a diversified tax base, one that draws on a range of sources, from business growth to tourism and events. Property taxes will remain stable because of this broader base, and the village will have reinvested these revenues into public services, infrastructure, and the things that matter most to our residents.

We’ll continue to sustain and build on what’s working—such as our robust local businesses and established services—while expanding into new areas like sustainable development, green spaces, and more job opportunities. We’ll have addressed any financial shortfalls, focusing on maintaining long-term fiscal health without burdening our residents.

Development Reflects Our Values & Vision

From a development standpoint, the next four years will see Arlington Heights transformed into a more vibrant, accessible place, with the kind of thoughtful, mixed-use developments that prioritize both economic growth and community needs. Whether it’s a revitalized Arlington Park, new retail and dining options, or additional housing that serves a range of incomes, development will reflect our commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and responsible growth.

Our village will be a place where local businesses thrive alongside larger ventures, each contributing to a broader sense of community. We’ll have successfully integrated new spaces for recreation, arts, and culture, making Arlington Heights a hub for entertainment, education, and leisure. Importantly, we’ll also have avoided the pitfalls of hasty or over-aggressive development. Instead, we’ll move forward with a clear plan, always keeping residents' needs and desires at the forefront of our decisions.

Community United by Purpose

Socially, Arlington Heights will be a model of inclusiveness, where the spirit of cooperation and respect thrives. Our community will be united in purpose, with fewer “us versus them” divisions, and a greater sense of common ground. It will be a place where differences of opinion are met with open-mindedness, and the interpretation of others' motives is always done with respect. We will have fostered a culture that actively seeks to understand each other, where all voices are heard and valued, regardless of background, income, or viewpoint.

This sense of unity will be visible in how we engage with each other and work together on everything from local projects to larger civic issues. We will be a community that isn’t just working around differences but celebrating them as strengths that enrich our village.

Success & Open Doors for All

In four years, Arlington Heights will be a place where every resident feels like they have the opportunity to succeed. We’ll have fostered an environment where businesses, large and small, can flourish, and where residents know that their village is a place that supports their success. The door will be open for new ideas, for new people, and for new businesses to come and make their mark.

Through inclusive programs and policies, we will ensure that even those who may have once felt excluded are empowered to participate in the community’s future. We’ll provide resources to help individuals, families, and organizations achieve their goals, from business owners to young families, seniors, and those new to the area.

Village with Heart & Vision

When I think of Arlington Heights four years from now, I see a community where financial health, thoughtful development, and social inclusivity are intertwined. It will be a place where we’ve nurtured and expanded what’s working well, solved the challenges that have held us back, and created a future that is sustainable, vibrant, and full of opportunity for everyone.

By maintaining a steady focus on inclusiveness, respect, and an unwavering commitment to the success of all our residents, we will ensure that Arlington Heights is not just a place to live, but a place where people feel proud to call homea place where the door to success is always open.
